SYNTHESIS Welcomes New Editorial Board Member Professor Martin Oestreich

As of April 1, 2021, Professor Martin Oestreich from the Technical University of Berlin, Germany, will join the Editorial Board of SYNTHESIS as responsible Editor for Reviews.

His current research is focused on silicon chemistry, for example the chemistry of silicon cations, various bond activation or transition-metal-free transfer processes. He has published more than 300 papers and worked on several other publication projects; among them Thieme’s Science of Synthesis Knowledge Updates where he takes care of the volume on Silicon Chemistry. Since 2011, Martin Oestreich is Professor at the Institute of Chemistry of the Technical University of Berlin, Germany.
