Interview with Xiaoran Hu
This Young Career Focus presents Xiaoran Hu (Syracuse University, USA).
Xiaoran Hu grew up in Henan province (P. R. of China) and received a B.S. in chemistry from Nanjing University in 2010. In 2012 he moved to Tufts University (USA) and obtained his Ph.D. in 2017. He then conducted postdoctoral research at Caltech (USA) from 2017–2021 and at Cornell University (USA) from 2021–2022. Xiaoran joined the faculty at Syracuse University (USA) in 2022, where his group’s research has been dedicated to the development of stimuli-responsive chemistry for sensing and controlled-release applications. Xiaoran is also one of the 2024 Thieme Chemistry Journals Awardees.
