Interview with Chao Wang

This Young Career Focus presents Chao Wang (The University of Tokyo, Japan).

Chao Wang obtained his BS degree in 2002 from Peking University (Beijing, P. R. of China). He continued his doctoral research under at the same university and obtained his PhD in 2007. After that, he carried out postdoctoral research at Purdue University (USA) in the group of Professor Ei-ichi Negishi. In 2009, he joined Professor Masanobu Uchiyama’s lab at RIKEN (Japan) as a JSPS postdoctoral fellow, and later as a RIKEN-SPDR fellow. He is now an assistant professor at the The University of Tokyo (Japan) where his research involves synthetic organic chemistry, organometallic chemistry, and computational chemistry.
