Benjamin List awarded with Leibniz Prize
SYNLETT Editor-in-Chief Benjamin List receives the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Prize 2016, awarded every year by the German Research Foundation (DFG).
The Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Prize is considered the most important research award in Germany. Its aim is to honor outstanding researchers by significantly improving their working conditions and expanding their research opportunities.
Each recipient of the award receives prize money of 2.5 million euros. The award ceremony for the 2016 Leibniz Prize will take place on March 1, 2016 in Berlin.
Benjamin List joins two other well-known prize winners from the SYNTHESIS editorial board – former and current editors-in-chief Dieter Enders (1993) and Paul Knochel (1997). Congratulations!
