SYNFACTS Welcomes New Editorial Board Member Prof. Dahui Zhao
As of July 1, 2022, Professor Dahui Zhao from Peking University (Beijing, P. R. of China) became an Editorial Board member of SYNFACTS as responsible Regional Editor for “Synthesis of Materials and Unnatural Products”.
Dahui Zhao received her B.Sc. degree in chemistry from Peking University (Beijing, P. R. of China) in 1997. She then moved to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (USA) where she obtained her Ph.D. under the supervision of Prof. Jeffrey S. Moore in 2003. Following that, she joined the group of Prof. Timothy M. Swager at MIT (USA) for a 3-year postdoc before she returned to Peking University as Associate Professor in 2006. Since 2014, she holds the position of Professor at the same university. Her research is in the interdisciplinary area of organic, polymer, materials, and supramolecular chemistry, with focuses on syntheses and supramolecular chemistry-related issues involved in the development of organic/polymeric materials with electronic, opto-electronic, or photonic functions.
