Experimental and Clinical Endocrinology&Diabetes (ECED) is looking for talented and ambitious early-career endocrinologists and diabetologists (MD/PhD) to join our trainee program on how to become a scientific journal editor. Together with the Editors-in-Chief, you will focus on developing the key skills needed to successfully edit a scientific journal.
As a Junior Editor you will learn about the whole review process, from submission to acceptance, including:
And you might expect that your scientific reading and writing skills will greatly improve!
Appointments will be for two years and every Junior Editor will be mentored by one of the Editors-in-Chief throughout this period. Applicants need to be aware that this position entails overseeing the review process of a minimum of 6 manuscripts per year as well as participating in tutorials (online) and engaging in social media activities.
