Archives of Plastic Surgery

Archives of Plastic Surgery (Arch Plast Surg, APS) is the official journal of the Korean Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons and is published six times per year. It is a peer reviewed, Open Access journal that publishes articles in all fields of plastic and reconstructive surgery including basic research, wound healing, congenital, craniofacial surgery, facial trauma, microsurgery, burns, tumor, breast surgery, hand surgery, and aesthetic surgery related to all areas of plastic surgery. Especially in aesthetic and some other subspecialties of plastic surgery, surgical concepts and technical approaches are different for those of different racial and ethnic backgrounds, and thus APS aims to be the leading forum for communications of techniques related to Asian patients' needs. APS also embraces its identity as the leading plastic surgery journal in Asia, aiming to be the main forum for communication among the plastic surgery scholars and clinicians of the Asia-Pacific region and beyond, and the main voice presenting this group's technical innovations to an international audience. Scholars from around the world are warmly invited to submit original articles reporting on the newest basic and clinical studies, including surgical trials. Review articles, case reports, ideas and innovations, book reviews, letters, images, and communications are also solicited. APS makes it a priority to keep the entire process of submission, review, and publication as speedy as possible while maintaining the best of international standards of rigor. Therefore, APS offers online manuscript submission for rapid peer-review and communication with authors.
